Above you can see the finished bag. I used a very pretty 1930's reproduction print in peach and green.
I used some ribbon I had saved; it tied up a group of fat quarters I bought at my favorite fabric store, Yoder's Amish Store in Shipshewana, Indiana. The name of the store is printed on the ribbon:
It turned out a little larger than I thought, but that means I won't have to empty it as often!

I'd forgotten about Mrs. Wilt's cute little trash bag for the car. I had saved some scraps from an apron I'd made and intended to use those! Thanks for the reminder!! I like the idea of a little scrap bag for the sewing room. I may make a second one for my new little sewing nook.
